The standard online rate is $0.45 per hour .You need 100 activity points to start earning $0.50 per hour!The link they ask you to click is an auto refresh page with banners both on top and bottom.The refresh timer of the ads is 10-15 second.
Personally,I think Surf Junky is not that honest and they have few points that i don't like.
1.They're asking you to click on the ads from third party ads.These ads come from deferent PPC network,even Google Adsense can be found here.Those click is 100% click fault and against the PPC term of use.If you spend your money on these PPC program.You lose it since most likely people not going to buy from you.Its not targeted ads.

Tips: Irregular clicking may result in suspension
It seem they know some terms of Google Adsense(and others)and warm you not to click too many time on the banner.
2.I am not sure whether the rotate time is too fast or the ads page is too heavy to load.,It sometime keep refresh long before the ad page finish loading .so,what the point when we don't even know what the ad like.How to we Surf with no page?
3.Earning say $0.50 per hour with the ads keep rotating for an hour.You can imagine how many time the same old ads repeat and repeat on the same page.

While those click may worth move then $1.00 per Click.(depend on different PPC bit rate)You're helping them to make good money,not to mention the advertising fee for their advertiser.Don't forget they can disabled your account when you reach to payout level.
Personally I think the" idea" of earning money by hiding some" trap"is scam.However,It is very tempting to a lot of people.
